Where to eat?
If you've ever found yourself looking for a place to eat around Boone North Carolina, and don't feel like going to Bojangles again maybe this blog post can help you decide.
One of my recent favorite places to go is Capone's Pizza. They are changing location to a place that has a lot more parking as well as seating! Something that might help you make your decision are the garlic knots. They are small and greasy but they pack a punch. If you go with a group of friends they are perfect to split and they are super cheap! As for a main course Capone's has a Chicago style personal pizza that is only $4, a price that no one can complain about.
Another favorite of mine is Comeback Shack. Yes, I know, another greasy burger place but what can I say I'm still in college. Although this place is a little bit more expensive, you will have left overs when you leave. They give you a ton of french fries and if you get the burger comeback style you won't regret it!
If you are looking for something that is on the more organic side of things you should try the wild craft eatery on king street. Although the name has changed it is still the same place with an extensive menu that could please many different people. They have a ton of vegetarian options and a really good meatloaf.
With Boone becoming more and more of a destination as each year passes I find it helpful to get feedback from other students on where to eat. 321 has all of the commercial favorites, but who wants to eat at McDonalds when you can try the local cuisine!
